As part of UON@50 celebrations, The College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences held its 3rd webinar on 28th October 2020, at 2.00PM. The guest speaker Prof.Sam Kariuki Director Centre for Microbiology Research KEMRI, Kenya, delivered a key address on "Antimicrobial resistance: One health threat." He explained on One health approach in Antimicrobial resistance as it is an increasingly serious global public threat. He emphasized on creating awareness of Antimicrobial resistance and encourage farmers to administer antibiotics only when necessary hence reduce antibiotic usage in both humans and animals.
